Peter advises venture capital investors, venture-backed start-ups and entrepreneurs and executives on corporate legal issues. As counsel to both investors and issuers in venture capital transactions, Peter provides practical advice informed by deep experience, having advised clients in hundreds of financing transactions in which billions have been invested. On the company side, Peter serves in the role of general outside counsel to companies from a wide range of industries and helps his clients navigate the legal complexities of entity formation, corporate governance, securities law compliance, equity compensation, the protection of intellectual property and employment matters. Peter also serves as both buy-side and sell-side counsel in small- and mid-market merger and acquisition transactions, and he represents executives in connection with equity compensation and governance matters.

In 2017, Peter was recognized for his dedication and expertise as the winner of the Client Choice Award for general corporate work in Massachusetts, and in 2022, Peter was named a top 10 proptech lawyer by Business Insider.
